MsTrefryhasbeenaveryactiveparticipantinthePCGandateverystageoftheongoingplanningprocessshewillhaveaccesstoallmaterial,suchasplans,developedthroughthePCG. MsTrefryisavailabletoanswerquestionsrelatingtothePCG.
AsplanningforanewschoolisacomplexprocessIintend,atvariousintervalsduringplanningandconstruction,tohavetherelevantpersonnelsuchasarchitectsandprojectmanagersavailabletodiscusswithparents,teachersandstudentssomeofthemoretechnicalaspectsofthenewschool. Asapriority,thePCGwiththesupportofMsTrefryandMrWorttheprincipalofGosfordPublicSchool,neededtoapproveaprojecttousethe$3mavailabletoGosfordPublicSchoolundertheBERscheme. ApprovalhasbeengiventoupgradethefirstfloorofBlockAatHenryKendallHighSchool(thedoughnutbuilding)toprovideninehomebasesandaspecialprogramsroomfortheprimaryschool. Thisprojectwillintegratewiththefuturenewworksandwillbelinkedbyawalkwayconnectingthebuildings. MsTrefryhasbeenakeymemberofthePCGinthesediscussionsasfundingundertheBERschemeneededtobecommittedinatimelymannerinordertomeetthetimeframesetbytheCommonwealthgovernment.
